William Moorcroft - A very large flambe jar and cover of swollen form decorated in an all over tonal red glaze with streaking and curtains, possibly an exhibition piece, impressed signature mark and signed W. Moorcroft in green to the base of the vase and the dome cover, dated 1939, height 43cm.
