A pair of 19th Century Meissen figures modelled as the Racegoer and his companion, he dressed in a turquoise suit with patterned waistcoat, his right arm holding a spyglass to his eye with a cane in his left hand, his companion dressed in purple and blue with a feather painted muff and holding a letter, both with underglaze marks and incised numbers, tallest 20cm, restored. (2)

Condition report
The companion has been beheaded and professionally restored. There are some very minor nibble losses to the frilled trim edges and draping.
