A collection of assorted papier mache and cattle horn snuff boxes, to include an oval papier mache box inset with a George III 1806 halfpenny to the hinged cover, some damages and later repairs. (7)
Condition report
The box inset with the coin has had some later glue repairs to the seam behind the hinge. Some scuffs to the box in general. The cover sits snuggly.
The two boxes transfer printed with a dog and a hunting scene have had some overpainting.
The base is loose to the horn shaped cattle horn box.
