A single share certificate numbered 234, for the Herne Bay Pier Company, dated 18th October 1832, together with four other early 19th Century share certificates for Potosi La Paz & Peruvian Mining Association, two dated 1825 and numbered 851 and 1076 and the other two dated 1827 and numbered 2401 and 2938, some damages and later repairs. (5)
Condition report
Herne Bay Pier certificate is generally in a tidy condition, although there are some ripples to the paper and some fold lines.
1825 Peruvian certificates - Some soil marks to both and taped repairs to old holes and tears to the reverse.
1827 certificates - Faded, some surface wear and fold / crease lines.
