Lot 331: Sold for £180 hammer

Estimate £150-£200

A cased opaque glass scent bottle circa 1765, enamel decorated with a rose and floral spray, with the monogram GR framed with flowers verso, height 8cm.

Condition report
There are no chips or cracks to the body, around the base of the scent it is a little unfinished however this is how it has been struck off the rod in production. The enamel is intact but a little handle worn and softened commensurate with age. The case has warped and doesnt close properly and shows age related wear to the interior silk.
