An early 19th Century glass rummer, circa 1810, the bowl acid etched 'John Simmonds, Glass Sellers, Cathedral, Canterbury' within an oval cartouche, raised to a square foot, height 14.5cm. NB - This is an early example of acid etching, which came into full flow circa 1840.
