A late 19th Century hand enamelled plaque understood to be by Oscar Pierre Erard, the shallow circular dish form plaque decorated in the Oriental style with a simulated Cloisonne pattern of repeat scroll and foliate motifs picked out in a mixed palette all over a deep turquoise ground, unmarked but bears inventory label stating 'Painted in 1877 in Paris', width 32.5 cm.
