A large Royal Worcester vase, shape 1969, with square base rising to a fluted domed foot, shallow stem and shouldered ovoid body with flared collar neck and applied foliate scroll handles decorated by W. Powell with two cranes to a watering hole in an exotic landscape between shot enamel and gilded borders, signed to the body, printed marks and date code for 1909, height 41 cm. ILLUSTRATED
