A large 18th Century goblet circa 1745, round funnel bowl Dutch engraved with a hen and chicks below a motto 'Beschermt Het Uwe' (Protect your own) with flowers and foliage and star opposing above double teared knop with six sided moulded stem with diamonds to the shoulders, basal collar, further teared knop all raised to domed foot. Provenance - This glass was exhibited in the Circle of Glass Collectors Commemorative exhibition in 1962 held at the Victorian and Albert Museum (catalogue ref 197).
