A George III painted and transfer-printed oak truncheon of triangular form with a turned handle and pommel, lettered G III R, with initials T.H and the motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' to two sides and further titled ' Ther Island of Portsea' to the other, some wear to the finish, length 51cm, possible Naval or press-ganging use.
