An embossed copper Art Nouveau buckle made from pieces taken from HMS Foudroyant, depicting two maidens, one singing the other playing a lyre, the reverse stamped 'Made from copper bolt of Nelson's flagship Foudroyant', 8 cm wide N.B - HMS Foudroyant was Nelsons flagship from June 1799 - June 1801. On 16th June 1897 during a violent storm the ship was wrecked on Blackpool Sands and broke up where many object particularly wooden were made and sold as relics.
