Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones - William Morris & Co - A framed stained glass panel depicting a young female with long red hair in standing pose beside a male figure playing a stringed instrument all to a landscape setting with fruiting tree behind, measures 52 cm by 36 cm. Notes - The image may represent Orpheus and Eurydice or possibly Tristram and Iseult. The piece was restored by Maureen Robson of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in 1993 and exhibited there between 26th Oct 1996 and 2nd February 1997 as part of the 'William Morris Revisited - Questioning the Legacy' exhibition Provenance - This item was purchased from Janet Lumsden Antiques of 51 A Queensferry St, Edinburgh in 1959 for
