A set of four 18th Century Chelsea Derby figurines depicting the four elements, modelling attributed to P. Stephan, earth modelled as a man stood beside a plant pot, holding a shovel and a harvested vegetable, wind as a lady stood upon stormy waves and letting a bird fly free, water as a lady holding a fishing net and two fish and fire as a man positioning a magnifying glass, all decorated in brightly enamelled clothes and raised to pedestal bases, all inscribed No. 3, circa 1770, height 17cm
