An early 19th Century gilt metal plaque depicting the circus clown W.F.Wallett in costume, mounted on a black velvet backboard, framed, 55cm x 40cm William Frederick Wallett (1806-1892) was a celebrated circus clown. He performed throughout Britain, Europe and America with Pablo Fanque's circus.
