An early 20th Century watch stand in the form of a lump of coal mounted with a lurcher above an engraved plate 'In Memory Of James Bradley who was killed at Quarry Bank Colliery August 12th 1901, this portion of the coal which fell and caused his death', together with two fragments on an ebonised wooden base and brass ball feet, height 24cm
