A carved sandstone, possibly or buttress section of a rampant heraldic lion reputedly to have come from Tregrug Castle, Llangybi, Monmouthshire, height 32cm x width 24cm. The castle was built in the 13th Century and underwent many later alterations. This item is possibly from the gatehouse or tower that was demolished in 1951.
