John James and Sons, Victoria Works, Redditch, Worcs, circa 1860 - a salesman's sample booklet with gilt tooled leather cover (detached) containing four sheets with examples of fish hooks (some leaves detached) and a further John James and Sons salesman's sample, post 1912, containing four sheets of fish hooks (2) Note: John James and Sons, Redditch was established in 1840 as manufacturers of needles and fishing hooks. It became a limited company in 1912 on merging with Henry Milward and Sons
