A 19th Century Maori jade Hei Tiki or Tiki, the small sage green pounamu or greenstone neck ornament carved in the form of a squat figure or embryo, head tilted to the left, the eyes highlighted with red sealing wax, with one hand on its belly, the other on its leg, pendant hole to the centre of the head with gold coloured suspension loop, length 3.2cm, weight 5.4g.
