EUGENE LOURIE (1903-1991) - Costume design for the dancer Andre Eglevsky, watercolour, signed and dated '33, unframed, 39cm x 28.5cm Notes: Believed to be a design for the second of Leonard Massine's symphonic ballets, 'Choreartium', which included six black figures throughout the passacaglia. The ballet premiered on 24th October 1933 at the Alhambra Theatre, London.
