A large limited edition Safari vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta circa 1957-58 of compressed ovoid form with an asymmetrical swept rim, cut and engraved by master engraver Tage Cronquist with a scene of six giraffes grazing from trees in an African landscape with four running giraffes to the opposing side, full engraved signature to the base and numbered LG248/6, height 33.5cm.
