A late 15th to early 16th Century and later mille fleurs tapestry fragment, probably Tournai or possibly Arras, Flanders , the verdure or indigo ground profusely woven with flowers, bulrushes and plants, with hares, birds, unicorns, deer and other allegorical animals amongst the foliage, later columnar border, possibly late 16th or early 17th Century, the whole cut down from a larger work, width 2.44m height 1.62m.
