An 18th Century Newcastle goblet circa 1750, large bell form bowl engraved with a friendship emblem of two hands below a radiating sun motif, with D'VRIND SCHAP within foliate scrolls and sun motif opposing, above a composite stem with shoulder and medial plain above invert baluster with beaded knop, raised to a shallow conical foot, height 20.5cm.
