A 19th Century Mauchline Ware hinged cotton spool box formed as a book, the spine printed Anchor Works Clark & Co, the front with a scene of Alloway Kirk, the pages 'Made of wood which grew on the banks of the Doon, near Alloway Kirk' and the back with a sprig of fern, the interior with a paper label with details of the original owner and dated Jan 29th 1877, 11cm x 7cm x 4.3cm
