A 19th Century brass poker inscribed 'Copper bolt from the brig Delta wrecked March 10th 1870 Bridlington quay, all hands lost', length 71cm The vessel Delta was off shore to the South of the harbour with the captain clinging by chains, the lifeboat was launched but all were drowned.
