An Austin J40 pedal car with original steering wheel, leather seats, wing mirror, hub caps and tyres, finished in maroon, length 156cm S/D The Austin J Forty pedal operated cars were made in South Wales by disabled miners from 1949, they were based on the 1948 A40 Devon and Dorset models of which over 32000 were produced.
