A World War One medal trio awarded to 62827 Private J.A. Waddington, Royal Army Medical Corps, to include the 1914-15 Star, the War Medal and the Victory medal, a 9ct gold oval photograph pendant, a photograph brooch and his demobilization certificate (qty) Private Waddington went on to serve in the RAF in World War Two as a leading aircraftsman and his service and release book together with two RAF sweetheart brooches are also included. The date of birth stated on the demobilization certificate is incorrect, indicating that perhaps Private Waddington was not necessarily truthful about his age when enlisting in August 1915.
