An early 19th Century Persian hand written copy of the Qu'ran (Koran) in black and red ink in scroll from within a white metal casket engraved with The Shahada to the hinged cover, all within a further leather case and outer carrying case, accompanied by a typed letter stating the alleged provenance, length 1738cm x 7.5 cm damaged. This Qu'ran is missing the first two Siparas and was given to the vendors father-in-law who left Lahore during The Partition of India in 1947.
