A late 19th Century automaton in the form of a kitten inside a metal milk churn by Roullet et Decamps Paris, circa 1890, key wind operation. When the lid of the churn is removed and the start knob pulled out, the kitten rises to the sound of the musical movement, apparently having drunk all of the milk and sticking his tongue out several times before descending back into the churn, 23cm high ILLUSTRATED
