A pair of Chinese Kangxi style blue and white moonflasks, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), each of flattened rounded form rising from a high footring and terminating at a neck flanked with wrythen qilin, the opposing sides detailed with depictions of scholars and attendants in formal fenced gardens, further detailed with meandering lotus tendrils, all in underglazed blue, height 25.5cm.
