Clarice Cliff - Triangle Flower/Broth - A Tankard shape hot water jug circa 1929 hand painted in a variant of the Triangle flower pattern with abstract flowers and foliage over a Broth ground with orange, blue, purple and yellow banding, gold Fantasque mark, height 16.5cm, lacks cover. This is believed to be a unique example of this design combining two of Clarice's 1929 abstract patterns to great effect. It was featured in the Clarice Cliff Collectors Club review of Feb 2000 following its discovery at Newark Antique Fair.
