A Chinese Qianlong (1736-95) period teapot of pear form applied with loop handle and straight upright spout, the milky white ground painted with lotus and blossom trees, further detailed with long-tailed birds, later converted to a lamp base with an elaborate rococo style gilt metal base and fitting, height 23cm.
