A large 19th Century tureen and cover, the body and slightly domed cover decorated with cornflower blue bands with white wreaths of flowers heightened with gilt ribbons and scrolls, both sections with hand painted crowns with a black griffin holding a cross pattée fitchée rising from a red coronet, the knop formed as a rose, the foot rim and rim edge with a moulded stiff leaf border, unmarked, possibly Copeland, height 24cm, length 31cm A/F.
