A Colt percussion revolver with 20cm barrel, brass trigger guard and steel back strap, serial no 42784, rosewood grip, A/F.
Condition report
In need of attention. The loading lever and the latch beneath the barrel are loose. There is some pitting and corrosion to the barrel. The brass trigger guard is heavily pitted. The trigger guard, stock and barrel are all stamped with the same serial number. Also stamped Colts Patent and the barrel is stamped 'Address Saml. Colt, New York, US'. The grip is chipped and dented around the bottom edge.
