Lot 961: Estimate £50-£80

An 18th Century and later constructed oak dresser with plate rack, with a shaped cornice, two small cupboards, alcoves and shelves over the base section fitted with two frieze drawers and two cupboards, raised to stile feet, height 228cm and width 156cm.

Condition report
There appears to be some age to the main carcass of the base section of the dresser, but the upright section is later, the drawers have been re-constructed, the feet are later and the back boards are later. Some old timbers utilised in the re-construction. The upright section has been artificially 'distressed'. Some splitting to the back boards of the upright and also to the cupboard doors. Some splitting to the panel joints of the side panels. Scuffs and scratches to the base section. The drawers are oak-lined.
