A large and comprehensive 1930s Italian drinks suite manufactured by hand at the Venice and Murano Company to comprise, twelve water, twelve red wine, twelve white wine, twelve champagne, eleven port wine, twelve finger bowls, twelve plates, eleven liqueur, twelve brandy balloons, three candlesticks, two comports and six nut dishes, the suite all with fine flared rim bowls finely engraved with mermaids and foliate scrolls above ball knopped and fluted stems with engraved foot, complete with the original hand illustration and bill of sale totalling £180-00 in April of 1935. Condition report
The suite is missing one port glass, one liqueur, one candlestick and the large platter mentioned on the bill of sale has been retained by the family as it is personally engraved to their grandparents. All other pieces are in perfect condition and free from damage or repair.
