A late 19th to early 20th Century Staffordshire breakfast cup and saucer decorated with hand painted cartouche panels within gilt frames, the cup with initials JD, saucer diameter 16cm, together with a small mug decorated with a floral cartouche panel against a blue ground, height 7cm, restored. (2)
Condition report
Breakfast cup - No chips, cracks or restoration, but there is quite considerable rubbing to the gilding on the rim edge of both pieces.
Blue mug - professionally restored with respraying to the interior. Rubbing to the gilding of the rim and scratching to the body.
