A Chinese Kangxi (1662-1722) period rose water sprinkler, the high tapered footrim extending to a bulbous body and terminating a tapered stem (cut down), decorated in underglazed blue depicting two wrythen dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, amidst fire scrolls and ruyi clouds, lotus mark to base, height 20cm, S/D.

Condition report
- Extensively cut down, approx. 6-7cm from the upper rim, with now chips at the upper rim, where the vessel has been cut. - large chip to underside of the footrim, approx. 2cm x 0.5cm in size, with two associated hairline cracks, each approx. 4cm - 5cm in length.
