A 19th Century Chinese blue and white jar and associated cover, the tapered ovoid form jar decorated with flowering lotus and meandering tendrils surmounted by a matched prunus cover, with flowerbud finial, height 13cm, S/D.
Condition report
both items are matched and were not originally produced together.
Extensive chipping/nibbles to the rim of the cover.
Jar in good condition with minor nibbles to the rim.
