A Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) satsuma vase, the shouldered ovoid vase extending from a splayed footrim, the exterior sides with continuous scene of birds before foliage and flora, before an ivory ground, Peony Kobe mark to base, lamped, height 21cm.

Condition report
The vase has not been drilled, but the upper rim has a lamp fitting which has been secured with glue and has not been removed, therefore the condition of the upper rim or interior is unknown. Minor wear and loss to the gilt throughout Scuffing and wear to the footrim
