A continental, carved walnut dressing stool, probably Italian, with four capitals carved in the form of putti or cherubs united by holding a swagged garland, over a cartouche shaped seat and frieze and raised to cabriole legs, height 78cm, width 70cm and depth 62cm, S/D.

Condition report
Some glued repairs to the arms and hands of the cherubs. There is a vertical split to the body of one of the cherubs. Some scuffs and scratches. The seat has been reupholstered in a plain grey fabric, condition of which is ok. The frame has been repolished
