An 18th Century Bilston Enamel patch box of circular section with a pale lilac base beneath a hinged lid concealing a mirror, the lid decorated with a small oval cartouche panel with a landscape scene with 'Farewell my Dear, I must away, Tis death to go, Tis Life to stay', width 3.5cm, S/D.

Condition report
There is some damage to the lid with a little of the verse chipped away. The mirror to the interior is cracked also.
