A large late 19th Century Coalbrookdale type vase decorated with two hand painted cartouche panels, the first with a scene of Chatsworth House, the reverse with a rural landscape, both framed with encrusted flowers and foliage against a blue ground with gilt scroll handles, unmarked, height 36cm, S/D.

Condition report
There are a series of breaks to the back applied blue and gilt of the rim which do not run into the body. Various nibble chips and losses to the flowers, rubbing to the gilding and hairlines to the handles.
