A pair of 19th Century French tinted bisque figures depicting a lady and gentleman in period dress each with a dove, both picked out in enamel, impressed mark, height 46cm, S/D. (2)

Condition report
The base for the lady has been broken into pieces and crudely restored, with restoration to the base of skirt and shoe also. There are a number of small cracks to the raised parts, particularly the skirt. The male figure has had one foot broken and glued, poor restoration to one hand. There is a large hairline crack across the coat and a small crack to the face. Painting around the bases is poor.
