A 19th Century Chinese Canton carved tortoiseshell box, of circular form, with two integrated sections, densely carved with Chinese figures in village scenes, 9cm diameter, 2.5cm deep.
Condition report
cover - small chip to rim, approx. 0.5cm long, further small 'nibble' to rim, scratches throughout.
Box - Chip to the rim, appox. 0.4cm in size, scratching throughout.
Both have scuffing and wear to the edges of each.
