Lot 15: Sold for £2,200 hammer

Estimate £1,200-£1,500

Emille Galle - A 'blow out' cameo glass vase circa 1900 of shouldered ovoid form with a shallow collar neck, the body relief moulded, colour cased and carved with fuscia flowers in tonal purple and blues over a graduated citron to clear, cameo signature to the body, height 27cm.

Condition report
All in good order and free from chips, cracks or restoration. There has been a question with regards to the neck and rim and if it has been polished. In our opinion we do not think so. The neck has a natural wave to it and its not perfect nor flat. There is clear crystal and not signs of repolishing and also the design naturally runs up to the neck. PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED ADDITIONAL IMAGES.
