Clarice Cliff - The Orange Seller - A figure modelled as a market seller with a basket of oranges on her head and another on her arm above a base reading 'Fine Sevil Oranges, Fine Lemons Fine, Round, sound and tender, inside and rine' all picked out in enamel colours, A.J.Wilkinson mark and incised signature to the base, height 24cm, S/D.
Condition report
There is a small stress hairline around her foot and the base has been ground to acconodate it for a lamp fitting base, now missing.
