A vintage enamel Leica camera advertising sign, possibly 1930s/40s, the convex curved sign with vibrant red text and black and white graphic of a Leica IIIA (produced between 1935-48), 39.5cm x 39.5cm.
Condition report
The mark 111A was produced between the year 1935-48. It is believed that this sign was produced to advertise the Leica IIIA during this period of time.
Loss to the enamel at the corner holes, loss, wear and flaking to the enamel at the edges. The back of the sign is in excellent condition and the enamel at the front is very good condition. Therefore it is likely that this sign was never hung outdoors and therefore retained its colour and good condition.
