A George III and later walnut and feather banded writing desk or bureau on stand of small proportions, with a fitted interior above a frieze drawer and with brass carry handles, raised to a barleytwist stretcher frame, height 82cm and width 46cm, S/D.
Condition report
Has been reconstructed. The drawer is a later replacement and the stand is later. Scuffs and scratches And some chips and losses to the veneer in places. The beading is a later addition.
