A George III mahogany fold-over card table, the baize lined top with candle reserves to the corners and with counter wells, above a single frieze drawer and a concertina action base with acanthus carved cabriole legs, restored, height 74cm and width 88cm.
Condition report
The table has had a complete overhaul and restoration at some point. It has been repolished. There are some splits to the veneer of the top and there is a small patch repair to the veneer of the top. The baize has been replaced and the counter wells look to be later replacements. There are nailed and filled repairs to old splits to the knees of the front legs.
