A Chinese/Tibetan Shishi guardian lion, the large sized carved wooden figure typically modelled in seated position, mouth open wide and snarling, painted all over in green and picked out with white and pink highlights, height 100cm, A/F.
Condition report
The carved wooden figure has a number of condition issues. Split and loss to the wood at the area between the two front legs. Chips/losses to the wood at the mane and tail areas. Losses to paint and knocks to the wood throughout.
